Kaiser Health Tracking Poll: Election 2008, Kaiser Family Foundation: This first in a new series of tracking polls looks at the public’s views of health care reform and presidential candidates’ positions on health care issues. In addition, the poll will track the saliency of health care as a political issue and policy priority, as well as public priorities for health reform proposals. The poll also provides an assessment of the public’s perception of 2008 presidential candidates’ stances on health care. The Kaiser Family Foundation will continue tracking public opinion on health and the candidates every two months and possibly more often as the campaign progresses (Kaiser Family Foundation release, 3/29).
